The FLC men's soccer team continued their torrid start to the 2018 season on Saturday night with a convincing 6-0 victory over Lassen College at Falcon Stadium. The Falcons wasted little time, with early goals by sophomore Arthur de Lima and freshman Adrian Jimenez in the first 20 minutes of play. As the match moved into the second half, the Falcons wore down the Lassen squad, stringing together consecutive passes on the attacking end. Freshman forward Ethan Viers tallied two second-half goals along with an assist, while sophomore scoring leader Miguel Medina found the net for his state-leading fifth goal of the young season. Jimenez added his second goal of the match in the 75th minute to cap off the scoring. Viers was named 'Man of the Match' for his offensive contributions.
With the win, the Falcons improved to 3-0. They will head to Marysville on Tuesday to take on former Bay Valley foe Yuba College at 6:00 pm.
