Falcons Set for 2 PM First Pitch in NorCal Super Regional Opener

The Folsom Lake Falcons will take the field at 2 p.m. on May 7 for Game 1 of the 3C2A NorCal Super Regionals at Ohlone College, continuing a postseason run that has quickly become one of the program's most impressive in recent years.

Entering the Super Regionals with a 30-13 overall record, the Falcons have thrived in their first season under Head Coach Bob Kittle. Their .698 winning percentage, combined with a 15-9 conference mark, reflects a team that has found both consistency and confidence as the stakes have risen.

Folsom Lake comes into Thursday's opener riding a four-game winning streak, fueled by a balanced approach that has defined their season. The Falcons have been dominant at home (17-4), while also proving capable on the road (11-9) and in neutral settings (2-0)—a key factor as they shift to postseason play in Fremont.

Throughout the playoffs, the Falcons have shown the ability to win in multiple ways. Strong pitching performances have anchored tight, low-scoring victories, while timely hitting and power have delivered in critical moments. That versatility has made them a difficult matchup and a legitimate contender to keep advancing.

Now, with a 2 p.m. first pitch set for Game 1, the Falcons turn their focus to the next challenge. The NorCal Super Regionals represent a significant step forward—but for a team that has steadily built momentum all season, it's simply the next opportunity to prove they belong among the best.

With confidence high and the postseason stage set, Folsom Lake looks to carry its winning form into Ohlone and continue a season that is far from finished.
